Ingredients
- 250g paneer, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp Aai cha Tikka Masala
- 1/2 cup thick yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 capsicum, cubed
- 1 onion, cubed
- 1 tomato, deseeded and cubed
- Salt to taste
- Butter for basting
- Lemon wedges and onion rings for serving
Instructions
- 1 In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, Aai cha Tikka Masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, chaat masala, oil, and salt to make a smooth marinade.
- 2 Add paneer cubes, capsicum, onion, and tomato to the marinade. Gently mix until all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-3 hours for better flavor.
- 3 If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated paneer and vegetables onto the skewers alternately.
- 4 Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) or heat a grill pan over medium heat. Place the skewers on a greased baking tray or the grill pan.
- 5 Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with butter, until the paneer is golden brown and slightly charred at the edges.
- 6 Sprinkle some chaat masala and squeeze lemon juice over the tikka. Serve hot with mint chutney, onion rings, and lemon wedges.
